EMSEAL Web Update Expansion Joint Blog Post for December 2017

With the start of an new year, we want to give a recap of all the new content that became available on emseal.com.

Speaking of transitions, they’re our specialty. You can see how EMSEAL’s products handle transitions and seal gaps throughout the building envelope with our new Interactive Illustration. This interactive illustration shows some of our many watertight and fire-rated solutions for conditions which occur in new or retrofit projects. It’s a great tool to help you find solutions for all of your project’s needs. This illustration is also available in Spanish.

And, with BIM increasingly becoming the basis of project design, we have added links to our Revit content on bimobject.com from the respective products on our CAD Details library on our site. Our industry-defining Emshield product line is the early focus of our BIM efforts but more products will be coming soon. Check back often.

Head over to the Expansion Joint Blog to read about the benefit of factory fabricated transitions and learn more about our SWRI-Validated expansion joint training program.

Be sure to check out who’s using EMSEAL expansion joints with our enormous project database. We’re continually adding projects and have been updating entries with links to Architizer, which is a great resource to learn more about the projects we haven’t expanded upon in our Case Studies. Our latest project case study details the installation of EMSEAL’s SJS-FR at Oakland International Airport (OAK).

We have also added new content to our Spanish site. New translations for Thermaflex and BG System are now available.

In our CAD Library, SJS-FP is now available in all joint sizes and leg heights. We aim to provide details for every product and size to help you specify and submit EMSEAL products for your project. If you do not see details that fit the specifications of your project, please contact techinfo@emseal.com.

EMSEAL Website Update Blog Post for September 2017

Expansion is our middle name here at EMSEAL and we live up to it. It’s been a busy summer and we are offering all the updates you need on emseal.com.

Check out the Expansion Joint Blog for the latest news, including information on our growth and new manufacturing plant, our most recent patent, and a reflection on the innovative thinking at EMSEAL’s core inspired by Peter Hensley.

This year, we have added a lot of names to an already extensive list of who’s using EMSEAL stadium expansion joints. Our products are an integral part of iconic structures like Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons. Others include: Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcat Football Stadium, Arkansas State University Red Wolves’ Football Operations Complex, University of Maryland’s Cole Field House, Ripon College Redhawks’ JM Storzer Athletic Center, Purdue University’s Football Performance Complex, and more. More project references have been updated with links to Architizer, which is a great resource to learn more about the projects we haven’t expanded on in our Case Studies.

In our quest to make our products and resources accessible to a wider audience, we have added a huge amount of new content to our Spanish site. New translations for QuietJoint, QuickCover, Emcrete, RoofJoint, SJS-FR, SJS-FP System, SJS-FP-FR2, Seismic Colorseal-DS, DSM-FP, DSM-DS System, Emshield DFR-FP, Chemseal, and Submerseal are now available.

We have made significant strides in growing our CAD Library. The latest additions are DSM-FP and SJS-FP, which are both used in waterproofed split-slab deck designs. CAD details are now available for DSM-FP in all of its joint sizes and leg heights, which means there are over 300 DSM-FP details for your viewing. SJS-FP details are continually being added, making more leg heights available in more sizes. We aim to provide details for every product and size to help you specify and submit EMSEAL products for your project. If you do not see details that fit the specifications of your project, please contact techinfo@emseal.com.
