A seismic wall expansion joint cover, Wabo^®SeismicCover is an exterior and interior wall system designed to accommodate both thermal and multi-directional movement. The system is installed on the exterior or interior of a building and provides a simple, attractive and durable solution for areas exposed to the general public and possible vandalism.

For interior applications, SeismicCover WFI/WFT is surface mounted over the ceiling, soffit, or wall expansion joint opening. The system’s base member is surface mounted over the drywall expansion joint opening with the provided drywall screws. Once the elastomeric gland and self-centering bar is installed the aluminum coverplate is screwed into place.

For exterior applications, SeismicCover WFE/WFX is surface mounted over the wall expansion joint opening. A moisture barrier is provided to help seal the joint from environmental exposure and draped over the joint opening. The system’s base member is then surface mounted over the concrete, masonry, block, etc. expansion joint opening with the provided masonry screws. Once the elastomeric gland and self-centering bar is installed the aluminum coverplate is screwed into place.

Provided with a seismic wall coverplate and self-centering seismic bar, SeismicCover can accommodate joints widths up to 24″ (610mm) wide with >100% total movement capability.
