Structural expansion joints and sealants by Sika Emseal knit together, from bottom to top and everything in between, the new (in 2004) headquarters for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. 350LF of BG System, 1,000LF of Migutan-FP, over 500LF of Seismic Colorseal and Horizontal Colorseal and more than 5,000lLF of Thermaflex were used to seal the West Parking Structure and adjacent structures from below the mud slab, on tunnel walls and roof, in foundation wall, above-grade walls, and the parking decks.
A visit to the Patent Office 13 years after initial installation showed the material in excellent condition having delivered value far beyond the terms of warranty.
