The members of SWRI are very active and are constantly striving to advance the industry and quality of work that is performed.

EMSEAL has been a member of the SWR Institute since 1979.

Members are generally owners, executives and senior management of contractor, manufacturer, and architectural and engineering firms.

Contractors—by virtue of their membership in SWRI these firms have committed themselves to making quality, safety, technology, and installation proficiency the cornerstones of their business philosophy.

Manufacturers—by virtue of their membership in SWRI these companies show recognition of the value of feedback about the usability and effectiveness of their products.  In addition, through networking with contractor and associate members they identify and develop next generation products to satisfy unmet needs.

Associates—commitment to membership in SWRI means these firms are part of a unique dialogue with contractor and manufacturer members that results in better specifications, and ultimately more effective solutions for building owners.

Validation—the SWR Institute validates the peroformance claims of manufacturers of various sealant and coating products.

In addition, SWR Institute validates training programs to a standard that ensures a positive contribution to the elevation of practices in its encompassed fields.  EMSEAL has validated a highly regarded Expansion Joint Training program through SWR Institute for architects, engineers, contractors, distributors and independent manufacturers representatives.  Here’s more on EMSEAL training programs.
