An exterior floor seismic expansion joint cover, Wabo®SeismicSpan (APS, APX) system is for wider joints exposed to heavy loading or when design considerations call for the ability to accommodate multi-directional seismic movement in car parks, parking garages, stadiums, and floors.

The APS model has a surface mounted slide plate while the APX‘s plates are recessed to sit flush with the floor or deck. Slide plates are available in aluminum or stainless-steel.

A snap-in weather resistant moisture barrier is provided with the system to help prevent water from infiltrating the joint to the lower level of the structure.

Optional self-levelling Emcrete elastomeric nosing system is used to fill the mounting blockouts to create a level, sound dampened, and strengthened joint edge.

For a secondary watertight system, Horizontal Colorseal can be installed below SeismicSpan – Consult Sika Emseal for available sizes.

Specify Emshield® DFR for the added life safety assurance of built-in UL 2079 fire rating and water infiltration – Consult Sika Emseal for available sizes.
